You’re as good as a lot of Python programmers, but you don’t want to be a programmer. You just love helping various people across the business solve their problems with trading platforms.
You’re most likely at a bank. The work is interesting, the pay is good, but you want to make the next move.
How about a smaller environment?
You must’ve thought about Trading?
You’ll join a unique desk in this trading firm. Part of your role will involve solving problems with the trading platform, fixing bugs in the code to support the platform, or completely re-writing pieces of the platform, all in Python, with lots of bash scripting too.
You’ll own the platform. You’ll get issues from traders and other people using the platform, you’ll speak to vendors if the problem sits with them and you’ll just get things done.
You have a great love for tech, but you also love solving any kind of problem.
It’s definitely a demanding role, but you’re used to that. You’ll get treated really well and once you’re back in the office you’ll have a modern office, flexible working, lots of collaborative support from your colleagues, free food and you’ll of course get paid really well.
We’ve mentioned up to £150,000 here, but we can discuss this more when we talk. Of course this will depend on experience, but there’s huge potential here. It’s an extremely important role to the business.
It’s not your typical application support role, so get in touch to find out more.
