Run technology for the New York arm of a global asset manager.
You’ll get all the support you need from the CTO and all the autonomy to do things your way.
The NYC office currently has all technology taken care of by an MSP, but there’s no one there to monitor performance and take a broader view of technology as a whole. Enter you.
You’ll take control of project delivery, service management and build a true relationship between technology and the business in NYC. It’s a good relationship right now, but it could be world class. It’s expected the MSP will continue to do the heavy lifting, but you’ll guide them to be more efficient and produce better results.
It’s a great opportunity to progress in your career. You’ll be able to make decisions, discuss technology needs and make changes that improve the whole US operation.
Technical experience in terms of managing varied IT projects will of course be required, but we’re open to different backgrounds and it’s as much about you as a person as it is about your exact technical background.
The only other ideal requirement is that you come from a similar kind of financial environment, for example, an Asset Manager, a Hedge Fund, Private Equity, etc.
You’ll be joining a small team of around 30, but as a wider company with offices across Europe and Asia. It’s a collaborative environment and they pride themselves on having an entrepreneurial attitude and a modern, flexible approach to work. Work/Life balance is key for them.
If this sounds like your ideal next step, then let’s talk. Apply for more details – no up-to-date CV required.
