Linux Systems Engineer – Amsterdam – Relocation/ Sponsorship Available

Amsterdam, Netherlands
negotiable

JOB DETAILS

Picture your dream job. Great salary, of course.

But what about the other bits that make a job perfect? Smart colleagues who you actually get on with, not just make small talk with. Free food is always a bonus. An in-house barista wouldn’t be bad either, come to think of it. How about a company gym? Actually – how about a company BOAT?

We know – sounds too good to be true, right? It’s not. They’ll even help you relocate, pay for Dutch lessons and offer sponsorship for the right person.

So, are you the right person? You’ll need some Linux/ Unix experience, knowledge of Python and a background in automation and scripting. They’ll give you a training course to introduce you to the world of trading, but any experience or interest in it would be beneficial.

Your days will involve maintaining internal Unix servers, carrying out any upgrades needed. You’ll be involved in every stage of the server lifecycle, building new solutions, collaborating with your team and deploying changes when they’re ready. Part of your role includes monitoring the performance and capacity of the system, identifying any issues, solving technical problems and managing all things hardware and software. You’ll also be leading the shift towards automation, using your knowledge and researching new solutions to build out the best possible system.

This role is based in Amsterdam but is open to applicants from any country.
