You’ll be designing, coding, testing and maintaining software that enables the functioning of the entire business. It doesn’t matter what language you’re currently using, whether it’s Python, C++ or Java. As long as you’re comfortable and confident, you can learn as you go.
You’re curious and driven, so you’ll love working with internal and remote teams to deliver high-quality software releases. You’re a details kind of person but you’re not afraid of the bigger picture, either. You’ve always got one eye on the ball and one focused on the future of your product, constantly looking for improvements you can make – and following through.
Despite sitting high up in the finance sector, they operate more as a tech firm – there’s a huge focus on staying up to date, so you’ll need to be excited about getting your hands on the latest tools. There’s a real start-up feel here, but there’s also plenty of capital behind everything they do, so there’s a huge level of security to enjoy.
You’ll ideally have a degree in ComSci or something else relevant, along with experience developing large-scale software projects. Beyond that, you’re an all-round good egg, willing to get stuck in and work with the team towards one ultimate goal – to continue being the best at what they do.
