Bridge the gap between Windows and Security. Quite a unique role you’d say?
This is a dedicated Windows Security position. It’s very likely you’ll have touched upon security in your current Windows Engineer position, but you’re looking for that something extra, something you can focus on for the future and being a Windows Security Engineer (or similar title), sounds perfect for you.
Your focus will be on securing all windows technology across the business. You’ll look at the current systems and tools in place, advise the team on changes that need to be made and then once you and your collaborative team have decided on the best course of action, you’ll get stuck into implementing those changes.
You’re already an expert windows engineer, but you know that in order for a windows estate to be the best, it has to be secure. In a highly technical trading environment, you know even more that things need to be ultra-secure.
You’ll get autonomy to choose new methods, your ideas will be listened to and you’ll have lots of investment in tools you want to use.
So, all you need is strong, in-depth knowledge of windows systems administration and some experience with security tools. We’re talking things like patch management, access controls and knowledge of various security frameworks. But most importantly, a desire to learn more!
You’ll join a highly technical trading environment, where well over 50% of the business are technologists who write some kind of code, or build technology platforms on a daily basis. Without technology, the business wouldn’t exist.
When we’re back to normal, you’ll work in a modern office, with free food cooked by chefs, all the snacks you could ever dream of and excellent compensation. There’s a real flexibility on experience for this particular role, with your fit to work in the team just as important as your technical skills. You could be looking for £50,000 or £150,000, but we’d still be keen to speak with you.
